Open Media is expanding into international markets through franchise operations. Our business model is based on a principal of maximising synergies between the franchisee and our offices in Portugal, to adapt the luxury destination magazine concept of the existing Essential titles to new locations. We are actively seeking opportunities in new markets.

Project Asia Corp. (PAC) is a group of companies with operations from media to creative services and events in the Macau SAR market. De Ficção - Multimedia Projects Ltd, the media arm of PAC, publishes Essential Macau. Other publications from De Ficção - Multimedia Projects Ltd. are Macau Business, the region’s first English magazine, a monthly publication which since its launch has become the voice of business in the Chinese territory that had a Portuguese administration until 1999. The group also publishes a monthly business magazine in Chinese (www.bizintelligenceonline.com) and from March 2012 a daily business newspaper in English.
